Michel Duchaussoy (born 29 November, 1938) gave an outstanding performance as a father hunting the murderer of his son in Claude Chabrol’s classic study of revenge Que la bête meure (The Beast Must Die, 1969). He had important supporting roles in four more of Chabrol’s best films, and also co-starred in Alain Jessua’s cult classics Jeu de massacre (The Killing Game, 1967) and Traitement du choc (Shock Treatment 1973).
