Charles Denner (29 May 1926 – 10 September 1995) was a Polish-born French actor, who brought a keen intelligence and a rare sensitivity to his screen portrayals. These qualities lead to collaborations with some of the most prominent French directors, including Louis Malle, Claude Chabrol, Alain Jessua, Claude Lelouch, and Claude Berri.
