Bulle Ogier (born 9 August, 1939) starred in Jacques Rivette’s epic masterpiece L’Amour fou, and has continued to work with the director on a regular basis ever since. A favourite among New Wave directors, she has also worked with Alain Tanner (La Salamandre, 1971), Barbet Schroeder (La Vallée, 1972), Claude Lelouch (Mariage, 1974), Marguerite Duras (Le Navire night, 1978), Rainer Werner Fassbinder (La Troisième generation, 1979), and Claude Chabrol (Au coeur du mensonge, 1998).
