HENRI SERRE
Henri Serre (born 26 February 1931) was performing as part of a comedy duo in Cabaret when Francois Truffaut first saw him and decided to cast him as Jim in Jules et Jim (1961), partly because of his close physical resemblance to the author of the original story, Henri-Pierre Roché. Although he would never again equal the impact of that performance, he has worked steadily in film and TV, most notably in supporting roles in Alain Cavalier’s Le Combat dans l’ile (1962) and Louis Malle’s Le Feu follet (1963). .
