Marie Dubois (born 12 January, 1937) played important supporting roles in early Nouvelle Vague classics, including Tirez sur le pianiste (1960), Une femme est une femme (1961), and Jules et Jim (1962). In later years she received acclaim for her performance as the discontented wife in Jacques Doniol-Valcroze’s La Maison des Bories (1970), and a César Award for Best Supporting Actress for La Menace (1977).
