FRANCOISE FABIAN
Francoise Fabian (born 10 May, 1933) was unforgettable in the title role of Eric Rohmer’s classic Ma nuit chez Maud (1969) as the beautiful divorcee whose charms Jean-Louis Trintignant struggles to resist. She made her debut in Pierre Foucaud’s Memoires d’un flic (1955), but it wasn’t until the late 60’s that she made in a real impact in Louis Malle’s Le Voleur (1967) and Luis Bunuel’s Belle de jour (1967). Subsequent highlights include the title role in Madame Claude (1977) and Claude Lelouch’s Partir revenir (1984).
