Francoise Dorleac (21 March, 1942 – 26 June, 1967) seemed set for international stardom when she died tragically young at the age of 25 in a car accident. Beautiful, charming and talented, by the time she died she had already made an indelible mark in cinema, working with Francois Truffaut (La Peau douce), Roman Polanski (Cul-de-Sac) and Jacques Demy (Les Demoiselles de Rochefort).
