Jean-Luc Godard's controversial and most recent achievement, Film Socialisme, is a less a narrative and more a visual symphony in three movements.
A MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE. Numerous conversations, in numerous languages, between the passengers, all with different histories... but the same future.
OUR EUROPE. At night, a sister and her younger brother summon their parents to appear before the court of their childhood. The children demand serious explanations on Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.
OUR HUMANITIES. Visit six sites of true or false myths: Egypt, Palestine, Odessa, Greece, Naples and Barcelona. |
